Bathroom redesign advice and assessment

I cannot recommend Vasile any higher. He is very careful, tidy, kind and dependable. He is probably the best tradesperson I’ve ever hired.

We had a huge project for him (completely refurbishing a bathroom and WC) and the reason we chose him over anyone else is he listened very carefully when we laid out our design ideas, and explained what was possible and what was going to be unfeasible or undesirable. This is such a refreshing change – very often you get tradespeople who’ll say “yeah I can do that no problem”, and of course this is rarely ever true – no project comes without its challenges. What makes Vasile stand out is he is able to foresee the challenges ahead of time and explain them to you.

He works delicately, with great control and precision. He installed a new bath, shower, two toilets, two basins, reconstructed our pipework and tiled our floor. I was genuinely amazed that this breadth of different tasks were all achieved with the same level of cleanliness and exactness.

He’s a very nice person to have around – quiet yet friendly. I’ve learnt so much from him too – he has a great deal of knowledge and is happy to share his advice.

Bath and new flooring to be installed

Vasile did a really great job with our bathroom – installed a bath, sink and toilet, tiled the walls, got the walls skimmed and painted and lay vinyl down. He was very efficient and very tidy, which was much appreciated. We hadn’t had a bathroom done before so he was also very good at offering practical advice to problems and gave us a fair price. Would highly recommend.

New bathroom to be fitted

We are very happy with Vasile’s work so would highly recommend for any work. He is very hardworking, time conscious and goes the extra mile to get work completed to a high standard. He is also very professional, polite and gives competitive cost estimates for the work which he then tries to stick to unlike other builders that give you a quote but you end paying much more than that. Vasile has access to other tradesmen that he can call to should they be needed. Overall very happy with Vasile’s work and will not hesitate to recommend him for any work. We are also planning to use him for more refurbishment work.

Painting hallway, landing, 2 bedrooms, plastering coving 

Vasile carried out a number of jobs for us including painting and decorating, building shelves and fixing coving. He was always punctual and very professional. He finished all the work as agreed and we are so happy we are recommending him to family and friends. We will be using him for more work around the house and garden.

Laminate flooring


I would definitely recommend Vasile. He has just fitted my laminate flooring & painted woodwork around the house. High quality finishing. Very punchulal,pleasant& polite individual who gives no hassle. Everyday he cleaned up the workspace when he left. I will definitely be getting more jobs done by him & strongly recommend him.

Small Kitchen 


Mr. Mitocaru was experienced in his field of work and was able to give me professional advice on other building related things I needed to be done in my home. I would definitely use him again and recommend anyone else to use him. He was very reliable, trustworthy and efficient. He did a really good job and finished earlier than had originally stated. Vasile is a great find! He is incredible helpful, friendly and a clear professional- even bringing his own vacuum which I thought was very considerate. Small paints 


I really recommend Vasile for everyone. I meet him on this website and at the first time he came to do a really small job in one of my flats. He replaced a door lock in a bathroom. He was very quick and professional and at the time I asked him if he can do a small repairs in the flat. He did in all my properties, paint, electric, pluming, carpenter and other small jobs. If you are looking someone really honest and professional, take him.

Vasile was quick to quote and attended the very next day. He was prompt and arrived with all the correct tools, even his own vacuum cleaner!

The quality of Vasile’s work was great. He was there a bit longer thank I thought he would be but his work was great, accurate and tidy. I’d call him again.

Sanding floors, ceilings, architraves & doors 


I could not recommend Vasile enough, he is great! He is punctual, tidy and meticulous as well as very knowledgeable. I started out on this job with Vasile, and have gone on to have him work on many others including:
Repairing damaged window frames, creative paint work, making radiator boxes with metal grilles, hanging doors (rail mechanism and hinged), fitting a new kitchen sink, fitting a new bathroom sink with vanity unit, as well as painting bathroom tiles and undertaking a complete cosmetic refurb of bathroom.

Furthermore, I would like to add that he is helpful in advising alternative suggestions and suppliers for materials. No nonsense, and upfront about if my tasks are possible and within his capabilities, as my jobs have been more complex than regular/ more conventional jobs of this nature.

I have recommended his services to personal friends too, such is the testament to the high level of his professionalism.

HIGHLY RECOMMENED. A+++++++++

Paint summer house
